It's already February but as it's my first post of the new year, Happy New Year!

A few quick updates:

  • I spent the last quarter of 2019 working on a commissioned title. I should be able to show it to you really soon. It's a picture book about a super important and relevant issue... stay tuned!

  • Twelve of my titles are now stocked at Huggs-Epigram cafe bookshop! If you're working in the Chinatown/ Tanjong Pagar area, do pop by. Address is: 45 Maxwell Road #01-01 The URA Centre, Singapore 069118

  • Last year, it was a bumper year for talks and school visits. I did nearly 30 sessions at the National Museum of Singapore, several Stacey storytelling sessions at schools and some events for the launch of my new series. But this year, the coronavirus situation is affecting businesses and daily life, and I foresee there will be a decrease in school visits since there have been cancellations of school assemblies and activities. Well, I guess that means more time to hunker down in my writing cave and get writing! I am working on chapter books next. What that really means is I am trying to, and procrastinating like crazy. I can never get down to writing until I've done all the research, and I know with some clarity what the plot is going to be.
