My first pre-school visit of the year and it was conducted online. Thanks Pat’s Schoolhouse Sembawang for having me! I was in the hot seat and the K2 students grilled me with really good questions about writing and the process of making picture books. Of course there are always some questions that catch me off guard, like “Do you live in a museum?” I had to stop myself from saying, “Yes, I’m an ancient relic!”
After the session, the students recorded the interview - I love how it was done like a Message Chat! How cute! And I’m truly moved by the nice things they said… This is why we write!
