Last week, I did a Stacey book reading at Bukit TImah CC's Reading Club. It was the first time I did a reading at a grassroots organisation. The volunteers work hard to get local authors to come by once a month and drum up enough publicity. They always manage to garner a good crowd, seriously. It kinda reminded me of the activities that we had in our neighbourhood in Silicon Valley, California. Thankful for such dedicated parents!
