Wow, it doesn't get better than this, appearing in the news on National Day!
So the cat's out of the bag. My new book, co-authored with Janice Khoo, and illustrated by Chao Ong, is called Sing A Song of Hawker Food: Humpty Dumpty & Friends Have a Singapore Hawker Feast.
From the title I think you can guess we've taken nursery rhymes and localised them with our favourite hawker food and imbued Singapore hawker culture into the rhymes. The rhymes can be sung to their original tunes and there will be Augmented Reality content in the book! The book is published by World Scientific Education and we've been so blessed to get National Heritage Board's support for this book as well.
I'm very pleased that Chao is illustrating this - his wit and humour is really what elevates our rhymes. I can't wait for you to see it! Check out his Instagram account @doodlesinabox for some really funny comics.
